Terms of Service

Every product we sell is manufactured after you order it, to the specification you submit. Nothing is pulled from stock. Production begins after the 24-hour cancellation window described in our Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms.

You are responsible for the measurements you submit. We build to the width and height shown on your order confirmation, applying only the factory deduction you selected. We cannot verify your window from here, and a blind built correctly to an incorrect measurement is not a defect. If you'd rather we measured, request an in-home consultation inside our service area (section 5).

Prices are shown in US dollars and include shipping anywhere in the United States. Sales tax, where applicable, is added at checkout. Payment is taken in full at the time of order and is processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card number. Prices may change at any time, but the price shown when you place your order is the price you pay. Our Price Match Policy sets out when we'll match a lower advertised price.

Orders ship to the address you provide at checkout. Manufacturing and delivery typically take 2 to 3 weeks from the date of purchase. If your order is going to take longer than that, we'll contact you with a revised date and you can choose to cancel for a full refund. Inspect your shipment on arrival and report transit damage within 7 days, keeping the carton — see the Returns Policy.

In-home consultation and measurement are available, with free travel within 25 miles of Spokane Valley, Washington. Beyond that radius, travel is charged at $0.50 per mile, one way. Professional installation is available and quoted per job; it is not included in the product price. Products otherwise ship ready to hang with mounting hardware and instructions included, and installation is the customer's responsibility.

Southpaw Blinds warrants each product for three years from the delivery date, covering the operating mechanism, the motor on motorized products, the fabric or slats, and the mounting hardware, under normal residential use. The warranty is administered directly by Southpaw Blinds — you deal with us, not the factory.

The warranty does not cover:

• incorrect measurement or a product that doesn't fit the window;
• improper installation by the customer or a third party;
• accidental damage, abuse, or forcing a mechanism;
• normal wear, fading from prolonged sun exposure, or discoloration over time;
• commercial or high-cycle use;
• products that have been modified, cut down or re-fabricated.

Governed by the Returns Policy: full refund within 24 hours of ordering; no returns or refunds on custom orders after production begins; free replacement for defects, transit damage or an order that doesn't match the confirmed specification.

Corded window coverings can pose a strangulation hazard to young children. Keep cords out of reach, use the supplied cord cleats and safety devices, and consider cordless or motorized products in homes with children. Follow all safety instructions supplied with your product.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Southpaw Blinds' total liability arising out of or relating to any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of use, property damage from installation performed by others, or lost time or income.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Spokane County, Washington.
